Compass One Donates Over 300,000 Pairs of Socks Nationwide

Compass One’s Socktober 2025 raises over 300,000 socks, supporting communities nationwide and engaging team members in a record-breaking campaign.

Socktober continues to be a celebrated and engaging campaign for Compass One Healthcare team members across the country. This year, we’re proud to share that we not only met, but exceeded, our goals by collecting and donating more than 300,000 pairs of socks to charities nationwide.

Socks remain one of the most requested items in shelters. Many people experiencing homelessness rarely have the opportunity to remove their shoes or wash their clothing, making clean socks a simple but critical necessity.

So many contributed to the cause, but here are just a few of the notable shoutouts:

  • The Crossings Retirement Community, the team gathered more than 1,100 pairs of socks, which were donated to Interfaith Caring Ministries in League City, TX.

  • Kelly Carroll, a member of the Field Application Support Team (FAST), supporting CCL and other Compass Healthcare sectors, brought Socktober into the local community. With the help of local police departments, schools, and businesses, she collected more than 4,000 pairs of socks in Bennington County, VT. The group also donated hats, gloves, and sweatshirts to the Bennington County Coalition for the Homeless.

  • The CCL Hospitality Group Finance Team contributed a generous 1,200 pairs of socks to the Marillac Family Shelter in Albany, NY.

This year’s Socktober campaign shows how deeply our people care about the communities they serve. Together, Compass One Healthcare has now donated more than one million pairs of socks to those in need. This milestone reflects the compassion and dedication of our teams, partners, and communities
